Oh God, good on you for stopping and photographing this WY. It is so easy to cringe and fly by.
'Tis the season of the year, hey?

I can't believe people don't even have the decency to drag the poor creature off the road. If I hit something, which I try really hard not to do, I stop to see if it is dead if I can find it (birds are difficult sometimes) If I can, I place it in some nice bush or grass and say a little prayer over it. But I guess I am just nuts!

Apologies for the grizzly comment on mans' disregard for life...it really hit home seeing these guys mowed down and left to rot. The mangled one appeared to be a juvenile.

MF - there is nothing nutty about living in compassion and respecting our brothers and sisters in whatever form they come.

Humanity is walking a very crooked trail - it is society that is nuts...and then some!

The sooner humans are forced to walk amongst nature again the better.
