We were just talking about getting a handbook so we could identify edible fungi.....apparently there are a lot you can actually eat, but I wouldn't like to make a mistake!! And I wouldn't eat yours :) Lovely pics.

I saw one of these fungi recently pushing its way through bitumin. Not even a road could bar its way. Tough little things, determined too.
